The Party Business Podcast crew keeps the Lord of the Rings adventure going by immediately doing exactly the opposite of what they were supposed to do.
Rhori, Euric, Ted, Thakhid, and Katvera find themselves in the dark of Mirkwood Forest off of the path they were told to stay on. Their travel companion has gone missing, and all that stands between them and getting him back is a ton of spiders.
The trick is trying to be sneaky. And with this geeky fellowship falling all over each other, that's easier said than done.
The Party Business Podcast is a One Ring RPG actual play podcast set 10 years after the Battle of Five Armies. Episode 2 forces the cast to get creative and hope that they can get back to the path with their lives.

A little behind the scenes for you, and some honesty...
The first episode of any podcast is always going to be a little awkward. The podcasters usually have to get their feet wet a little before finding their true confidence. Episode 1 of The Party Business Podcast was a ton of fun, and the group was already finding their groove.
Episode 2 takes that to the next level.
The One Ring RPG has a lot of differences from something like Dungeons and Dragons and really leans into the role-play aspect of tabletop RPGs. Once we start figuring that out, that's when the magic happens.
Or complete disaster.
It's honestly what makes The One Ring RPG such a great thing to play on a podcast. It focuses mechanically on fleshing out the characters and playing in the theater of the mind. Useful in an audio-only medium!
