Ep 7: A Short Break

The Party Business Podcast crew is back and adventuring in Middle Earth again!

Through many trials, and hermits, and spiders, and terrible nameless things in a well, the group has come through Mirkwood and into the Wilderland. A darkness grows in Mirkwood, and it seems the Shadow hasn't been driven from this area for good like many had hoped.

But will anyone believe the group or act when they report back to their homes?

The group's Fellowship Phase is in full swing, and everyone has gone their separate ways for a little R&R. Or at least some family drama and venting sessions.

And some decide a few drinks at the Easterly Inn will suffice as "hard work."

Thakhid joins Katvera as she travels back to see her parents and report on the darkness in Mirkwood.

Euric takes the piece of Wolfbiter he's found back to Woodland Hall and asks some tough questions of a certain wizard. Then threatens said wizard? That can't be right? Right?!

And Rhori and Ted cleanout Easterly Inn of their supply of Dwarven ale as they...help the group...somehow.

Now for a little behind the scenes...

This One Ring RPG actual play returns to a regular schedule. We plan on releasing a new episode every other week to keep things consistent yet realistic for the cast.

We're sorry there was such a long break between episodes here, but we are so excited to get back into Middle Earth and The One Ring RPG.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us. We're humbled by the responses we've gotten and how many of you have downloaded and joined the adventure!

We also know a lot of people are starting to get their hands on the 2nd edition of The One Ring RPG and want to see those rules in action. We will slowly start adding 2nd edition rules to the campaign where it makes sense. We especially will start implementing 2nd edition variations for gaining Shadow, Journeys, Wondrous Items, Fellowship Phases, and a whole lot more.
